The Montreal Holocaust Memorial Centre
The Montreal Holocaust Memorial Centre is a world-class museum and cultural centre that memorializes Holocaust survivors. Many committed supporters and survivors came together to make the museum possible, and the Federation commissioned kubik to create a donor wall, complete with plaques, to thank these individuals and companies for their contributions. The key element of this project was adaptability. kubik created a metal donor wall system that included 28 silk-screened donor plaques of various sizes (designated by client and donor amount) hung on clear, powder-coated steel, which visually matched the look of overall exhibit. Result: As the final element in a project that had been managed by Kubik from the beginning, it was important to give it the regard and care all other elements had received, but still meet a demanding timeline and budget. kubik was able to accomplish both.
