Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage
The major challenge of this project was to tell the story of an ethnic group landing in America from the 1800’s through to today in a manner that was compelling and interactive. From the detailed display of artifact custom showcases, to extensive graphic production, the museum tells their story by mixing photographic exhibits on immigration, religion, light-hearted takes on the Jewish contribution to Broadway and somber pictures of the Holocaust. Result: Videos, interactive computers and audiotapes with the roar of trains and the twittering of birds make the past real again.
