kubik inc. Wins Big at the 2009 SEGD Design Awards Competition
The Newseum is a 250,000 square foot museum that is home to the foremost collection of news artifacts in the world. kubik, an internationally renowned exhibits and environments firm, was at the forefront of the planning, production, graphic treatment and on-site installation for the Newseum’s 15 theaters, 14 major galleries, 130 interactive stations and two cutting-edge broadcast studios.
In recognition of kubik’s tremendous contributions to the success of the Newseum, from exploring new and innovative solutions, to bringing designs and the exhibits to life, SEGD (Society for Environmental Graphic Design) has awarded kubik, and the New York based design firm Ralph Appelbaum Associates, the Honor award for best “Exhibition Design/Museum”.
