Kubik Raises the Bar for Grolsch at International
Food and Wine Show

~ New Design Facilitates Privacy and Meetings at Shows ~

Amsterdam, October 16, 2007 – When a successful global company is attending the Anuga Exhibition, the most important fair for the world of food and beverages, they like to attract and impress there clients with their booth. Grolsch International asked Kubik to help them impress their clients.

For this new booth, Kubik repurposed a previous build that was completed for Grolsch in 2004. Because of the high quality of this earlier booth, Kubik was able to re-use a lot of materials, while creating a new, contemporary and impactful design.

To make the booth welcoming and engaging, Kubik added an extra bar where consumers could stop, visit and have a drink. Not only did the bar function as a place for Grolsch to engage their consumers, but also together with the original bar these were places to conduct business meetings. As Grolsch has invited clients from all over the world to attend this important show, the additional space and the nominal privacy was an essential element for Grolsch.

In addition to designing and constructing the extra bar, Kubik also changed graphics to give this 80 square meter booth a new look, with strong emphasis on the new Grolsch bottle.

“It was a great exhibition with a lot of new business opportunities.” said Tom Nieuwenhuis, Customer Service Grolsch International. “We’re also very happy with the extra bar – it’s a concept that worked out very well whether we were meeting our consumers or our business partners.

“It is great to see how the new bar and the graphic changes gave this booth a different look,” said Hans Wolters, Project/Account Manager at Kubik. “The bar on the outside of the booth had a great stopping-power and was a hit at the show.

The Anuga Exhibition took place from the October 13 to October 17, 2007.
